The Ghana Stammering Association (GSA)was established in 2013 to meet the needs of people who stammer (pws) in Ghana.
Since its inception, the GSA has increased awareness of stammering through its activities in Ghana and given hope to many people whose lives have been affected by stammering.
In their quest to improve the lives of PWS in Ghana, the GSA sent a representative to the World Congress on Stammering in Iceland and he returned to share the knowledge and experience via workshops.
The Association has decided to use GoFundMe to raise money to sponsor these workshops across the country. Obtaining funding to finance projects and activities in Africa is very difficult and limited, hence the need to look at the possibilities of such platforms as GoFundMe.
