Everybody knows Iceland. From school, you know it probably as the island in the Atlantic Ocean with its capital Reykjavik. Travelers know it as the magical island where vulcanos gave it its unique landscape and where you can do the most amazing hikes. Instagram knows it for its selfie-friendly locations, such as the blue lagoon. Scientists know it as the island where the Northern Lights shine throughout the year after the solar wind bombards Earth’s magnetosphere. Sports fans know the country by its Viking spirited football team, that impressed us several times the recent years. And fantasy lovers know it by the beautiful film locations of Game of Thrones… But soon we also will know it as one of the best places for a World Congress about stuttering!
And yeah, we are also pretty excited about this Congress. The theme is ’embrace your stutter’ and the week (23-27 June) is full of great workshops and activities. Even we are there on day 2. Check out the website and book if you are able to. It is the perfect place and time to get inspired by people who stutter and to explore the mosquito free island and make new friends from all over the world.
